Considering that diablo 2 was THE BEST GAME OF ALL TIME I would prolly buy it.

(Prolly wouldnt be good though, most the d2 team is working on GW now

Yea, there is no D3 in the works that we know of. I thought that Blizz was a money hungery buissnes, but obviously they know nothing about..........welll what people want.

Blizzard North has been dismantled. Most of the Diablo minds have left and formed Flagship Studios.

Yea, I would want the OG team to work on it, but admit it if you saw it on the shelves you would probably buy it. Just like I would.

I wouldn't want to play Diablo 3 with the eponymous monster all neon-colored and cartoony-looking. World Of Warcraft graphics make me shudder.

I'd want Starcraft 2 more. Diablo has too much competition, Starcraft would have almost free reign over the genre.

Anyway... piracy aside. I'm sure some time in the future, Diablo 3 will get hyped up to impossible levels, then not live up to the hype. But what you should really be looking for is Hellgate: London, by Flagship Studios which Scaper said, is basically Blizzard North.

Right now D3 is just a rumor (just like SC 2), however if they did bring it out with no monthly fee i would buy it in a flash.. i would make sure i get in soon enough to reserve a copy from EB

Sadly Blizzard can not seem to remeber they have other hit titles other than WoW, which they seem to be spending an awful lot of attention to...

If D3 does happen i will be very happy as long as they try to make it a little less.. well based around runewords... i hate high lvl runewords because of what it has done to the game, so if they pull away that concept id love it.

I think i maybe banned from there servers; i can connect with my classic cdkey; or maybe my chat client had a mistyped LOD key in it... but anyway they barly have enoff material to put out 1.11; Diablo 3 would have to be like WarCraft/Starcraft/Diablo kinda; oh wait thats WoW = /

they got nothing left, WoW is just scraps from thier previous games.

What's left of Blizzard North moved to Cali, and are working on a "secret project". Some call the "secret project" Diablo 3, and some call it something that's not worth publishing. I prefer the latter. Like Scape, said, with most of the good ones over at Flagship, D3's not going to happen.

I've always thought they should have done Starcraft 2 with hero units as in WC3 and better overall HUD and unit control. However I doubt this will ever happen. Diablo 3 would be great, however I think that they pretty much perfected Diablo 2, so I don't know what they could do to improve it. I'd definitely buy a D2 add on though if it introduced some new content.

The last rumor I heard was that the next thing in the Diablo series was going to be an MMORPG which would really give me pause to think. Though I've probably logged an embarassing number of hours since 1995 on the three in the series (original, D2 classic, LoD), I still would NOT pay to play. It's just against my religion to do so.

SC2 will happen (merged races plz, crazy terrans)

D2 will not. Sorry but our heroes seem to have learned that smashing soulstones on the hellforge is a much better investment than jamming them into their own forehands, ouch.

I'm pretty sure Uber diablo was my D1 warrior though...
